WE ARE INTERNATIONAL

115 countries | 420 international teammates | countless lives touched by Jesus Christ

Background

Sport transcends age, race, gender, economics and even nationality. As a result, FCA works with local sport ministry leaders and existing ministries in the Southern Africa International Region. This impact is growing throughout Southern Africa with sport leaders and teams of volunteers. In order to build deeper relationships with international teammates, each state in the Northland is aligned with a small number of countries in southern Africa. North Dakota is pleased to be paired with the country of Madagascar. Our International Sports Partner (ISP) in that country is Alain Moreno Ramaroson.

Opportunity

Moreno (as he prefers to go by), was a professional soccer player in his younger days, but had his career cut short by injury. This situation led him to Jesus and a life of ministry. He started a soccer team, Malagasy United, years ago, that has a passion to change the nation and share the Gospel through coaches. Recently, he has been utilizing 3-D Coaching training (a ministry tool provided by FCA). The team is dedicated to training coaches, teachers, and pastors who will make disciples to complete the Great Commission.

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." Matthew 28:19
